Session 22 Recap

The gang is at the Armored Goat. It's PARTY TIME.

Amanda offers us temporary rooms to change into our fancy dress. We meet up with Garret in the bar and head out to Stormraven manor for the party. We step outside and it is definitely quieter as everyone is up at the manor. The pathway to the manor is also decorated up. As we get closer to the manor Garret has us hang back. He announces he wants to make a grand entrance after Alex had closed the doors.

We see Alex ahead greet the last of the guests and close the door. Garret walks up and throws open the doors, startling everyone, saying “did you miss me brother?” Alex is in shock, Naomi comes out to see what is going on. She sees Garret but he silences her so she doesn’t give away the surprise. Alex finally notices us and Garret says he brought us along. The two of them start leading us around, introducing us to the guest (See Below)

After we meet everyone, the guests break up into small groups. The dwarfs hang out drinking Vistra’s stach. Sorcha goes and talks to the Mayor of Eisgfion and chats about our plans, Ailyia’s temple and Fu. Then talks with Jamie and Caitlyn. Althena hangs out with the Bards. Garret is making the rounds of the room being very diplomatic as he goes about.

Another door opens and Tiberius and Naomi enter. Garret is hiding behind Tolvin and a high elf. Tiberius spots us and appears to be confused as to why we are there. Garret comes out and gives Tiberius a big hug (trying to give the old man a heart attack). Tiberius thanks everyone for coming and everyone pays their respects to him. Cocktail hour continues. Tiberius does say he wants to chat with us later.

The party moves into the dining room for the five course dinner. 1st - fish, 2nd - cured meat and cheese, 3rd - Venison and roasted root veg, 4th - cheese plate with ice wine, 5th - dessert.

Alex stands to give a toast but is interrupted when a group of Veterans enter and with the help of the Jester tried to rob the place (this explains why the Jester was so awful). And in typical Ailyia of Five fashion we fight to the death. (There were some seriously reinforced windows in this room and a giant polar bear made an appearance) All the baddies are killed
