He meets them and says he has a simple job for them, go to the ancestral family home, and retrieve a signet ring. The crew takes the job, and after stocking up on supplies at Nalagon’s shop, they head off to the keep. | |
After a bit of a walk, the Party gets ambushed by a couple of Goblins, and after taking care of them, followed one trying to retreat up a path and into a cave, where they found a bunch of Goblinoids had taken up residence. After taking out the monsters, they discover a Mural of the goddess Ailyia, as well as a statue of the Goddess in front of a wall with torches and braziers nearby. After some trial and error, they solve the riddle, and the wall opens revealing a treasure trove. The journey is mostly uneventful, save for running into a Dryad who warns them that the Keep is surrounded by death. Upon arriving at the keep, they find it’s closed up, and is in fact dead everywhere. Once finding a way in and exploring, they check each location looking for the ring. They fight some zombies, and skeletons, and even an animated suit of armor - but no ring.
