Picking up from where we left off: Naeren is about to tell us about her niece.
Naeren is a high elf. Her brother was a member of the wolfcast. He was in Eisgfion many years ago on a job and was killed during a fight with the Nacormas. What people don’t know is he was secretly married. The marriage had to be kept secret because of who he was married to. He was to another elf but she was a drow and cleric of Basan. They were happy but because they were the elven version of the Capulets and Montagues they had to keep the marriage a secret. They did produce a daughter (Magalia). They knew of the prophecy of the impossible child and knew they had to keep her safe. Naeren has been raising Naeren in hiding for many years. She knows her brother is dead and her sister-in-law is missing, presumed dead.
There are only days until the equinox and the prophecy. So we only have to keep her safe until then. Naren is only trusting us because we are wearing the symbols of Toraches and carrying the weapons of Ailiyah. But she wants to know what our intentions are with her niece. First and foremost protect the child at all costs. Vistra shares her first vision with Naeren and she agrees with the severity of the vision and current situation.
Knock at the door. Naeren goes to the door. Before she opens its she changes her face and in her hand she is fidgeting with a stone in what appears to be a spell casting implement. She answers the door and its the guards from outside checking on Naeran making sure we aren’t disturbing her. She tells them we are gone. She’s gotten really good after all these years with illusion magic. The magic door upstairs is hiding everything they need for their illusion magic as they haven’t shown their true face outside this house. Magalia did at one point have a young male but that didn’t work. They stay in hiding outside the city because Mayor Jackass won’t be too happy about a half-Dark elf living in his city.
What’s the plan: Transport to the Temple of Nadar via plant tree, then go to Temple of Toraches and send a message to the King asking for more support in the Capital. Do we really want to go to a populated area? Create a decoy Send message to Fiodhalart asking for help from the Agency Send her off continent Go to a different Plane Fake kill her
Naeren says she’ll help us if we can come up with a solid plan and get the niece on board. Another knock at the door. Naeren does the same illusion magic. The male voice at the door says he’s here asking for donations for the restoration of the Temple of Ailiyah (original one where we got the weapons from). Naeren gives him a few coins. Vistra recognizes the voice of the person and shares that through the bracers. Tolvin, Sorcha, and Vistra are taken back to the Armoured Goat and realize the voice is Fuidian Duine (what’s he doing here?) Tolvin casts detect magic and says he’s glowing illusion magic. (at this point we do a few things then decide we should have done something first so we rewind history a bit). Althena casts detect thoughts and his surface thoughts are “they are here, guess this is the right house). Tolvin casts Dispel Magic on Fuidian as he walks past the window. Fuidian’s face changes that of the man who saved Diana several days ago. Althena still reading his thoughts hears him thinking we’re very clever as he blinks away. BREAKING NEWS: Fuidian Duine is Foiliag.
Naeren comes back and says how nice a man he was (yeah is the imma gonna sacrifice your niece to bring the god of death back kinda way). We tell her we need to get the niece out of here now. Magalia will be home shortly.
The back door opens and a young elf girl walks in with golden blond hair. Tolvin is still detecting magic and this elf is screaming illusion magic. The girl looks around and sees us and her aunt, who is showing her true face, and is really very confused. Naeren comforts her, tells her we are friends here to help and the time they’ve been waiting for has come. Magalia drops her disguise revealing a white haired, gray skinned girl with one purple eye and the other is golden. Vistra recognizes the girl and immediately falls over unconscious. Naeren and Magalia look very concerned while the rest of the group is like yeah this happens from time to time she’s fine.
Vistra wakes up and through the bracers says “we need to get her the hell out of here ASAP. We need to get to the local Temple of Toraches and tree out immediately.” We inform Naeren and Magalia of the urgency of the situation and they gather up some belongings and we head out the back way in the direction of the temple.
We are greeted kindly by the followers of Toraches (I mean after all we are wearing their gods symbols and he was just in one of our minds). Naeren and Magalia go off with some of the followers for some food while the rest of us stay and chat.
Vistra shares her vision. It's the battle. Good versus evil and evil wins. Foiliag kills Magalia and Basan is resurrected in her body and proceeds to kill Foiliag. Then he kills Diana and Kohl (oh yeah they’re there too) and the rest of the people fighting on Foiliag’s side. Basan looks at us and says “They got their rewards early, for being faithful minions. You have spent so much effort trying to stop this that you have a different reward. You get to watch as I lay waste to this world, and eliminate the followers of all other gods on the celestial plane. When all that's left is death, I shall be the only power on all planes!” The girl's hands raise, and the same energy that was a small beam before is released from all of her fingers, and forms an aura around her. Magalia Basan then proceeds to kill everyone (Nalagon, Charlotte, and even Verul) leaving only the Ailiyah Five left. Time then freezes in the vision and Toraches talks to Vistra “You and your allies have made great strides child, but I still see this as the most probable outcome.” (Are you sure we can’t just kill her).
In the morning we are teleporting to Talmhain.
