Agency - Session 21 Recap

Draodchachdmios 24, 2358 cont.

As the warehouse is burning, a bucket brigade starts forming and the City Watch starts to arrive. We are questioned by the City Watch and are asked to accompany them to their office for more questions. When we get to their office we are arrested and put in jail. We request to speak to Lt Baab.

While in our cells, we start talking with one of the other prisoners, Peyton.

Lt. Baab arrives and frees us. We share the information we gathered on the crew with Lt Baab.

Bert (Leonin) gets revived and moved to a more secure room for interrogation. He denies attacking us or killing the sisters in Galeria. Arienell casts Zone of Truth, which Bert fails.

He gives us the following information

• The printing press is NW of the capital on the way to Madatricona
• He doesn't know who the creator is
• Says that they killed Oz’s partner in Self Defense
• They came to the Capital to blend in more and there were more busy opportunities.
• It wasn’t him that killed the Sisters. He says that maybe Judy did it.

We make a deal with Bert, he gives us more information on the newspapers

• The Main Office is near the docks in Madatricona
• The Printing Press is about a days ride from the Capital
• The Gentleman that he saw in charge has the attitude of an Elf.
• At most there were 6-10 people at the printing press warehouse

After Bert leaves, we find out that we have not missed the King’s announcement, which is scheduled for later in the day.

We talk to Baab and the guards about Peyton. We find out that she has a mark similar to that of a blowgun dart mark. She was found unconscious next to her dead brother. Her parents had died the previous year of a mysterious sickness along with several of their neighbors. She gives us the name of one of her brother’s friends and lets us know where we might find him (Robbie sells fruit at the Market).

Since the King’s speech is not for a while we decide to try and find Robbie. We talk to Robbie and he lets us know where Peyton and her brother were found. We go check out the alley and Oz finds a feather that appears to be from a dart. We head to Peyton’s house where we find the front door ajar. The house has been tossed. Looking around the house we find 2 raised stones in the fireplace. Box is magically locked. We take the box to open later. City Watch requested Arienell’s presence at the Castle in the morning
