Agency - Session 19 Recap

We continue shopping.

As we move throughout the capital we notice that the more rarer species seem to be less common around town today.

We are given the name of an Artificer, Randarg, that may be able to make some of the items that we are looking for.

We head back to the inn with the plan of finding Randarg tomorrow.

Draodchachdmios 23, 2358

Arianell, Faefiel and Lythriel head down for breakfast. Baab is at the inn.

Thosvi/Thosri comes up to the group and lets them know that Thorig ask him to give them the key to his room and that he left something in his room for them. He also says that Thorig has paid for their room for the rest of their stay.

The group head off to Thorig’s room and finds a pile of gear on the bed with a note. The note says…

Hello Arianell, Faefiel and Lythriel, 

I apologize for leaving in the middle of the night, but given recent events, I have decided to enlist in the Rharnian army as I believe my skills will be of use there.  It has been a pleasure working with all of you.  Please tell Uxoria that I appreciate the opportunity to work for the Agency and that I will miss her baked goods.

If I am ever in Fiodhalart as the same time as you, the first round is on me.

I have left these items for you.  Please take what you need and give the rest to the Agency’s supplies.

Arianell loads up the gear into the bag of holding and they go back town to talk to Baab. Baab approaches the group and asks some questions about our stay in the capital. We talk about the mystery paper and he says that he expects the next edition to arrive tomorrow (so the group got up early today for nothing). He tells us he was tracking an old used printing press that had been sold but that the trail went cold after the press had been sold several times.

He then calls over to another patron at the bar, an emerald dragonborn, and let him know that there was a report of a Leonin seen around the docks.

The dragonborn comes over and introduces himself as Ozkoth, Oz for short. He is (or at least was) an investigator for the City Guard in the Galerian capital. Oz fills the group in on the gang he is looking for. The 4 agree to group up and help each other with their missions.

We head off to Randarg’s. We find out that in order make a Belt of Storm Giant’s strength we will need something from a Storm Giant. He says that there have been reports of Storm Giants in the mountains of Gilean.

We ask him about the gang that Oz is looking for and they had stopped in looking to buy some items but the items they wanted he that doesn’t make them so as to not piss off the City Watch. (Chimes of Opening, Venom Blade, and items that do Silence and Invisibility)

We head to the Temple of Toraches, where we meet with Lucent Lyons. She lets us know that the Holy Avenger had been lost in battle.

We head over to the docks to investigate the report of a Leonin being seen there. At the dock master’s office, the Dock Master (Arthur) let us know he had heard rumors but they have not found anything in the empty warehouses in that area. He gives us the locations of the warehouses and we head out to check them.

Both warehouses are completely empty and there are no signs of the gang. We ask some nearby dock workers and they haven’t seen anything out of the ordinary.

We then head to Ohlananna’s since we are in the area to see if they have heard or seen anything, but they have not. They do agree to let us know if they hear of anything.

It's now late afternoon and we head back to the inn, but decide to head via embassy row to see what is going on there today. There is a small crowd at the Galarien embassy, including Bubba, one of the guys that we talked to the previous day. There is a note on the gate, “Due to security concerns, we have relocated inside the castle walls.”

When we get back to the inn, we are given a note from Uxoria.
