Session 21 Recap

The gang arrive back at the Armored Goat and learn Vistra has not returned yet. Garret is happy Jamie got his wife back. They also have Francis tied up with them. Nalagon is there as well. She knew Francis from years ago but he looks different now. The gang asks about a law enforcement unit in the town but there is none which surprises the group. Jamie has friends in Madatricona who can help out on that front and he’ll take possession of Francis in the meantime. He also has a spare tent for the gang to use and offers to pay for their dinner.

During dinner they talk about the lack of law and order in the town. Apparently it's a quiet town and no major crime. There was a strange thing that happened a decade ago. A husband and wife (Adam and Barb) were in a carriage that crashed. Barb was found dead but for ten year no one has seen or heard from Adam since. The town assumed he murdered her. Nalagon came after this incident and took over the store they owned.

Next morning. Gang walks into the Goat and sees Vistra there surrounded by 12 very large jugs. Sorcha got a message from Kai saying that Rurnock had a vision about Vistra getting married. Vistra fills them in. Vistra was taking back to Pride Rock, got married and divorced, got sending stones, never ending flask, water elemental thingy, and the 12 jugs. Tolvin and Azi divide the jugs between them and place them in their bags of holding. The gang fill Vistra in one what happened while she was gone.

Group orders breakfast and learns what else Kai sent Sorcha. “The King agrees the zoo is very exploitive of animals and it will now be used as a rehab center for animals which Gaia will oversee. King is going to look into the Hags in Mad and doesn’t know anything about anypeaceful Goblins. Gaia is going to send someone to look at the planets in Francis help”.

They ask Vistra some questions about Thoradon versus Thoradin.

Nalagon runs in screaming that “its gone”. We get her to calm down (no one slapped her though). She says it is a gold necklace that was in the shop when she took it over. A middle aged man was in the shop the other day asking about the necklace but Nal wouldn’t sell it. It could have been Adam. Someone else in the pub says they saw a shady looking man around the shop and then head to the graveyard where Barb is buried with something bulking over his shoulder. Now someone else (Mia) comes in saying her daughter is missing (Eleanna). Ailiya of five is on the case.

Archy flies ahead to scout the graveyard northeast of town. There’s one Mausoleum. We arrive at the grave and try to talk to Adam but of course it eventually doesn't go well and we fight Zombies and Skeletons. We defeat them, rescue the girl and try to have a conversion with Adam. He has the symbol of Basan and wanted to kill the girl to bring his wife back. Adam starts muttering a spell and Sorcha kicks him in the throat to shut him up which she did for good. He dead. We take the girl and head back to the Goat, give the girl back to her mother, fill everyone in on what happened and get ready for the party.
